An Underwater house

“Hey we finally have our own underwater house” this is what people will be saying in the year 3000. Can you imagine an advanced underwater house capable staying underwater for more than 1000 years? They will first be zapped with a machine, which makes them breathe underwater. Kids will be playing with seahorses and fishes in their air light cloths. Mums will be cleaning their houses and dads will be in their waterproof suits going to work in the sea living development. This houses made by the (SLD) Sea Living Development have lots of special features some of them are air pipes for the air to come in and a food chamber for the food to come in and there is a pipe for the people of the house to go above ground and a energy plant to get energy to the house.

Now I will tell you about these amazing features. (This is not for someone that has heart effects)
Get ready to exclaim!!!

Water will come through a WC1 (water cleaner machine the V1 is put in because if it is just WC it sounds like toilet) first sea water comes into the machine and then the salt in the water will be gone by being destroyed by turbines and clean water comes into the kitchen and hot water will come in by the cold water being heated by a boiler which is powered by solar energy or they can get a WCV2 which is a better version of the WCV1 because it stores the salt and sends it to the meat and vegetables and also stores it for cooking.
This is a 300% salt free salt cleaner and it is pollution free it is a good machine to support the environment

The energy comes from two ways the tidal/hydro power and the solar power the hydropower will be easy to get because it is water all over the place. The sun power comes from a SPP (Solar Power Pipe) and gets energy from the sun.
These ways of energy is efficient energy and the plants are small so it will not cost too much to run.

The food will come in every 2 weeks and there is a FC (food chamber) to store the food that comes from the mainland they are meat, bread, rice, milk and vegetables.
And the people push a button and say the food they want it will come to them but if there is an emergency there will be AFM (arterial food maker) that makes man made meat, bread, rice and vegetables.
This is a well-supported Food Maker and you can get any food you want.

It is not artificial air so it is good for the lungs and there is no pollution in the air and it is also well supported.

My Inquiry Evaluation

In this evaluation I will be talking about the good facts and about the bad facts. In the inqury group there were seven people they were.
Matt, Sam, Jun, Samuel, Joe, Chris and Daniel K.

Now I will talk about the good facts.

One of of the good things was that all seven of us wanted to make a movie and we all wanted to do the same stuff such as making a news about global warming and we will have some interviews.

We decided things really fast. The things are who will be who and where we will do all the filming.

Most of the filming was done very well and was done really fast so it only took one week.

The start of the movie and all the music was good.

Some bits were so funny!

There are bloppers.

This is some of the bad parts!!!

Sometimes we were mumbleing.

Sometimes we had to do lots of things over and over again.

There was lots of backgroud noise.

Some bits were very boring.

I thinks this was good because I wrote a couple of sentences on everything that you need most.

It was also good because I think it had a good hook and I like the looks of the story because it was a contract.

Some bad parts were that I didn't put that many adjective.

But some other good thing are that I shared with lots of other people and made it better and better.

This is my Gym achievement

These are the ten things I have improved most this year in team 14.
1. Inquirer because of the global warming I knew there is no point of learning something if you don't do anything with it. I found out you need to make an action plan is the plan of your inquiry and you need to make an information gather so you can store your information.

2.Technology because I have been given the job of learning applications for the future some of the applications are Google Docs, Google Sketchup, Gmail, Firstclass

3. Transferring ideas is one of the biggest things I have learn this year because being a tech wizard have lead me into teaching people lots of skills I now in conferences such as Kids Congress I teached Google Sketchup and in Tuanz I have teached imovie with Daniel.

4. Put thing into practice I have done lots of this inquiry and also being a tech wizard because I am going to posters up reminding people about not polluting and not wasting energy.
In tech wizards I have worked with nick to put knowing your pro grammes in action.

5. Goals I have improved on making goals because I have learn't how to make them smart and I decided to make Team player goals, dream maker goals, thinker goals and communicator goals. I will show you my term 1 goals ( ) and my term 3 goals you will see how much I have improved.

6. Furtruist I have improved my future thinking skills becasue the places I have been to this year have inspired me and I think it was great.

School Goals

1. Making my stories longer because my stories are not long enough. I will try to make my story longer by adding more adjectives. I will try to make the story bigger by having a bigger plot and having a lots of people.
I will know this by compareing my storys from last term and this term.

2. Reading more books for ideas in a book I will read as many books as I can I will try to read about ten big books this term I will know this by putting the name of the book into a post in blogger.

My Speech about friends is good I would give it a rating of 4 out of 5 because it has a good time limit of 2.55 the time limit is 3 minutes and I think it has good because I had lots of adjectives in my speech and I think I had a good introduction

Today I learnt new thing to do on my speech such as I learnt how to get my introduction and my concution good and I learnt how to sprint well
From this learning I can sprint well in sports and athletics day and I learnt how to get my speech good

Well today I am going to talk about these things in my speech about friends firstly friends and secondly how you should choose them how friends can betray you and lastly depending on what sort of friend you have can change your life.

How you should select friends. There are lots of ways you can chose friends but I think you need to think about these following things everyone has no choice of how they are born such as where they are born, which skin colour that you were born with and what sort of family they are born from such as rich families or poor families so I think it it not good idea to judge and chose friends because of where they are born what skin colour they have and how rich or poor they are. So you should chose on how nice they are how much they are helpful and how much they care for you. So do not judge people in the outside judge them on the inside.

Now I am going to talk about how friends can betray you people betray eachother because of their own goodness or sbecause they hate them because of some kind of reason to make sure this does not happen to you you should make good friends which won't betray but if it happens you can prevent this by having lots of friends becasue if you have lots of friends and one friend fails you you still have lots of other friends to play with and you should have differant groups of friends such as one group of friends that hang around with eachother and another becasue if one froup betrays you, you have another group to play with. And the more friends you have to better becasue friends help you in the future like when you are trying to get a job they can help you find a job etc. This leads on to the next subject depending on what friends you have can change your life.

Now as I said I am going to talk about depending on what sort of friends you have can change your life because if you have the sort of freinds that swear and punch and kick you will one day turn into that sort of person becasue you will follow what they do. But if you have good friends you will turn into a good person.

The message I am trying to give you in this speech is do not judge on the outside judge on the inside of people and that friends can help you for your whole life and finally friends can help you fo r your whole life well thats all I have for you today I hope you make good friends.

Reflection

Today I have learnt that we are making man made disaters such as making the temperatures rise in the ocean as well as land and we are dieing from the heat that we made such as people in europe and India and even america
From this learning I am going to walk to school if I can so then I can reduce the amount of CO2 and if I stop useing cars the amount of co2 then the world will not be getting hotter
The next step in my learning is to look at more of the DVD.

global warming

Sam and I were making the poster for our global warming that what we do in everyday life puts greenhouse gas into the air (Warch TV playing a vidoe game). The population of the world getting bigger is also a big problem for the enviroment becacuse the more people there are the more green house gas goes into the air. Lack of power is a big problem as well because we need more electrocity we will need to bulid lots of power plants the makes the enviroment dirty. The cars that make green house gas is a big sound problem. There is a good website called electrocity and it is a city that you can be mauer and play and worry about the envoroment and power

SLC Reflection

Before I started I first showed my dad the class (The calss board, Our class pet which is a fish and our class games and other learning in the class) then my dad and I did maths my dad gave me questions and I answered them using my ways of doing maths while my sister played on funbrain. Then I showed my dad my PLJ with my refelctions and my PMI and PIMS then I showwed my dad my writing jornal (Writing Book) and showed how my writing has improved though the year.

Different cultures.

How do I treat people from other cultures?
I treat them will , I have to treeat them will then NZ people will be friends with me the same goes for other culture poeple as well.

How do people from differant countries are same as us?
We all have the same body (Nose Mouth Eyes Legs arms) and we all wanted to be treated the same way.

How can we make people welcome?
We could make a party in that persons cultural way which will make them very well treated and that will be a warm greating.

Term 3 goals 1
Getting good marks in maths Olympiad and Otago maths because it shows my maths skills and it gives me a chance to improve my maths skills.
To get better I will do the following things.
1. Practice my maths with mum and dad at least 2 times a day.
2. Listen well to my maths lessons with Mrs Harford/Mrs Taylor
3. Work on my maths book at my own time.
I will know I have achieved this goal because they will tell me if I got good marks.
I will prove I have practice by keeping a log of in the back of my PLJ.
I will finish this goal at the end of the tests.

Term 3 goals 2
Getting to remind people when they are using to computer dangerously because then they could get into big trouble if they do something wrong and they could damage the computer.
To prove it I will keep this as a log (Every time I do it I will record it on a piece of paper.)

Writing interesting words in my story so I can improve my spelling and writing because I think my spelling is not that good and I want to improve.
I will look up the dictionary for good words and put them in my story spelling and when I can say it well I will put it in a talking.

Snow White The funny

Snow white was living with her evil stepmother(witch) and her father the king. Snow White lives at Snow Land Colosseum at the year 1111BC. The witch had a lying mirror and the mirror said, “Queen, You are the fairest of all.” Once the mirror told the real story and said, “Snow White is the fairest of all.”

The witch sent Snow White to pick Moorook Weed and sent the Hunter Hagrid for her bodyguard. Her real plan was to kill Snow White by using Hagrid then suing him for killing Snow White. But Snow White knew something was going on. She took a GPS and ran away from Hagrid, Hagrid tried to put a spell on Snow White but it reflected on a tree and hit him and it made Hagrid fly back to the castle.

Snow White took her GPS and went to the cottage of the 7 tinnies. The 7 tinnies and Snow White made a deal Snow White gives them 2 lipsticks and the tinnies let Snow White stay. First the witch tried to catch snow white by blowing her up with some tea which has a potion that makes people into a hat. But the witch drunk the wrong tea and got turned into a hat and ran away.

Next the witch tried to poison Snow White with a mango and Snow White got choked on the poisoned mango. One hour later a prince came over and did recantations to Snow White but the mango popped out of Snow Whites neck and went into the prince’s neck but the prince stuffed the mango out but snow white was gone. By the way the witch tried to run away by her broomstick but she landed in the middle of the Hogwarts great hall and Dumbledoor said “Ha got you at last, it is 500000 people playing 1 woman with a broom and a stick.” and then all the Hogwarts the students killed the witch. But where was Snow White?

The witch sent her to a cottage before she died and their were the witches 2 evil daughters forced Snow White to do work for them.One day there was a ball and the sisters went but snow white could not so she cried and cried but suddenly Professor Umbrigh came and waved her stick and she turned into the normal snow white and Professor Umbrigh made her house into a limo and went to the castle but she warned Snow White “Your Magic will warn off at hair past 12” she said Ok and went off to the ball she was having fun with the prince.

She realized it was almost hair past 12 so she went off.
But her limo crashed and so she ran off. But the limo did not change back. So using the limo prince found Snow White and they were walking back to the castle. the 2 evil sisters said “You turned my house into a limo!!!” So the prince and Snow White needed to work harder for the two evil sisters. Snow White worked for the evil sisters and the put the Prince into a cage and gave him food with lots of fat. So when the prince got fat they could turn him into Prince Soup. The evil sisters thought the prince was fat enough but he was not the real story is the thing in the cage is a stuffed fake fatty. The prince was beside the evil sisters and put them into the cage.

They were almost at the castle when the prince disappeared so snow white decided to find him but suddenly a wolf came out so snow white run for her life and lost him, she saw the prince and got him but the prince was the wolf in a suit. She was about to be eaten but suddenly granny the woodcutter killed the wolf.

She was off finding the prince with the granny and we saw the prince at the other side of a cliff that we were on and there was a bridge to terabithia and there was Sherk under the bridge snow white tried to cross the bridge to terabitha.
But Skerk said, “Who is crossing my bridge?”
Snow White said, “It is me!” “Who!” Said
Sherk “Snow White!” said Snow White “Get off
My bridge” siad Sherk “SHUT UP!!!!” said Granny and dropped
Her axe.
The axe fell on Sherk and Sherk got killed.
So Snow White and Prince got joined and went to the castle and
lived happily ever after!!!

Camp to Hamner

Have you ever been at a pool where your friends tell you to come here there everywhere well I have when my class room 14 went on camp with room 9 we went to the Hammer hot pools for two evenings.

The first day we went to the Hamner hot pools we were angry very angry to hear that the Hammer water slides were only on the second day.
But it was OK we had four more pools that we could swim in.

The kid’s pool was the best pool in the first day it had 2 mini water slides a rockslide and an animal slide and a big bossy bucket of water the spilled over us every time we go close to it did hurt.
We were allowed in strong sulphur smelling hot pool, which was very relaxing.
There was another cold pool with two monsters in it Mr Clark and Mr Norton pushing us into the water!!!!

The second day we were rushing to the water slides and I wen tin the green slide first the green slide is green in the outside but black in the inside it is a fun fast slide which has yellow arrows in it.
Then I went into the white slides it was very slack but still fun.
I had 26 rides in the water slides but I wanted more goes.

In my opinion the hot pools were the best activity that we did o that is why I wrote about the hot pools.
The first day was not that fun as the second day

Going to sandy town

Going to Sandy Town
Have you ever been on a 10 hour trip before? Well I have.
At the start of 2007 my dad ,my sister and I got super bored because we stayed at home for days. So we decided to go to the West Coast and visit Sandy Town.
When we got ready we headed to Arthur’s Pass. We arrived at Arthur’s Pass at about at 12:30 pm and we had lunch there. My dad ordered a garlic ham sandwich and my sister and I ordered a ham sandwich. We were eating and my dad said “this does not taste like ham”. I ate one of my dads Garlic Ham sandwiches by mistake they were very spicy.
We arrived at our target which was Sandy Town at about 2:00 pm. We went on the steam train and travelled through the bushes, I felt like a traveller. After that I got an ice cream to eat. Went panning for gold which I liked the most I couldn’t wait to go home and tell mum . When we got back to Christchurch I found out that we had been travelling for 10 hours that made me feel really tried.
That day I went to sleep at 9:00 pm I was just too tried.
Go on a trip to Sandy Town and you will know what a 10 hour trip fells like.

1.My goal is to work and play with people that I have not played with before.
These are the ways that I am going to do it
1. I will ask people that are playing alone to play with me.
2. I will help people that are stuck on there work then we will talk then we will start being friends.
3. I will try to play with people that look sad so then they will be happy.

I will know I have achieved these goals by
1. I will have lots of more friends
2. I will have lots of friends under my age and people that are not in my class.


By the end of term 3 I will try to have at least 8 friends.

2. My second goal is fitness which is sport but the fitness that I am going to do is running around but I am only going to do it on the days that are sunny.
These are the ways that I am going to do to running.
1. I might play tag with my friends
2. I might just run around the cross country corse once a week
3. I will play lots of other games which have running.

I will know I have achieved this goal by
1. I will be faster at running

By The end of the year I will try to get faster by 20%


Personal Goals
My goal is to inprove my spelling I want to practice spelling with my friends.
These are the ways I will get better at spelling.
And maybe find a tuter to teach me my spelling.
1. To read a book and fend words that a don’t know and finds them in the dictionary and try to remember them off by heart.
2. To ask my family people because my mum and dad could know the words that I do not know
I will know I have achieved this goal by
1. I will have spelt words that I did not kow.
2. I will improve spelling by knowing the words that I have tried to remember

By the end of term 3 I will have achieved this goal.

Evauation

My goal 1-
Work with people that you have not played with =
I achieved this goal about half because I helped people that were stuck on things and a few times I helped people that were sad and made them happy.
I have about 8 to 10 friends.

My goal 2-
Do lots of running=
I have not achieved this goal that well about I only achieved one thing which is playing tag.
I think I have improved my running a little bit.
I am going to use this goal on term 3

My goal 3-
Do lots of spelling=
I have achieved this goal because I can spelling about 50 words a couldn’t spell before
I am going to continue this goal on term 3.
